Old-time pleasures prevail in northern Indiana, home to one of the nation’s largest Amish communities. On self-guided driving tours along backcountry roads, hand-lettered signs lead to furniture, quilts and baked goods for sale at Amish farms. KOA brings the Amish to you with bake sales and Amish crafts in the campground store. RV enthusiasts will want to make time to tour one of the several RV plants here in the “RV capital of the world.”

Crafts, fishing contests, dances, movies, games and feeding the campground’s goats entertain the kids at KOA. Everyone enjoys the campground’s parties, including a Hawaiian luau. Or shop the 1,000-plus vendors at the famous Shipshewana Flea Market on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May through October.
